Here's A Little About What Happened On Opening Day.
Here it is as promised;

I have to say I think we're onto something good here; opening day seems to have gone fairly well; I wish I could say we literally had hundreds of people on the first day out but that would be stretching things so here's what I'll do, I'll tell you about the performers that did come out for our opening day,
First of all to open the show we had "Country Hearts" on hand along with some backup vocals by their grandson "Matt" and they did a real fine job on some very nice traditional country music and I must say at this point the small crowd that was on hand when we opened was very receptive for which we are all very appreciative.
After Country Hearts "Penny Levens" came up for a short set; her and Red Oak Sam did a few numbers together and Penny did a few solo numbers and I have to say she really wowed them with her rendition of "Don't Toss Us Away" and all this was just the starting point.
After Penny came a family group "The Kaiser Family" (and I must say I sincerely wish I'd met them long ago) a mom and dad team with two daughters all very talented on instruments and vocals and the family harmony is something that just cannot be beat, needless to say they were a huge hit and the small crowd that we had at the beginning was slowly but surely growing.
Next up was a longtime friend "Craig Canfield" with his rock-a-billy style guitar and vocals that are nothing short of crowd-pleasing; Craig has been in the music world for a good number of years and I must say he is very good at what he does.
After which we had a one song appearance by "A.J. Levens" 4 yr. old grandson of Red Oak Sam with a very nice cappella version of "God Bless America" followed by "Uke Jackson" with his very unique style reminiscent of twenties era pop you might say "just Uke and his uke" and I must say what he does he does very well; to my knowledge he is definitely a one of a kind and very pleasing to listen to, he also stopped back later in the show to tell a story which I found he also does very well.
Next up was "Howard Campbell" another longtime friend and fellow musician doing a very nice job on some traditional country hits from the past, which he does so well, Howard and I go back quite a few years so I could really get into some history here but I think I'd better just go on.
After Howard was "Mike O'Brien" now Mike is a great guy which I've never met before July 14th. so I don't know how long he's been at this music business but I do know he did one great job on some old honky-tonk style country.
After Mike we had "Linda Carol" who did a very fine job on some traditional country music, I think this lady must know and sing every song Hank Williams Sr. ever did and what she does she does very well.
I guess the bottom line is "all in all we had a great time and took numerous photos which are being developed as I write and will be here just as soon as humanly possible so by all means stop back and check them out".
